Delta Dished

The Delta Ditch Run fired up this year with wind from the normal direction making the race an actual run, unlike the last couple of years of beating...and simply being beaten by driving rain. We had a great time following the fleet, but man, I can tell you, we're tired! The wind piped up to 30 knots on parts of the course, and there were reports of boats hitting the mud, broken rigs, and carnage all over the track. Fortunately we didn't hear of any serious injury, just bruised egos...and wallets. The Ditch allows sailors to push it as far as they dare, and we captured a ton of you crossing the line just a wee little bit. Very fun to watch! The Delta Ditch Run is one of the best regattas around, and we're stoked that our friends at RYC and the Stockton Sailing Club helped SailRev to be a part of it. I'm uploading tons of pics to the gallery, and I'll be adding more in the next few days.

If you know of a businesses that would be interested in sponsoring our event photography for any upcoming Bay Area racing, send us an email

Full report tomorrow.
